Whitney Komor, Founder of The Best Day
Whitney Komor founded the app The Best Day after a frustrating experience organising a weekend away with girlfriends. Whitney realised the easiest way to secure a group would be to simply pick the time and location, put the options to a group vote, then lock-in the plan. Whitney self-funded the development of a prototype web-based tool, Beta tested the website with a limited group of users and businesses, and gathered sufficient information to determine that there was a significant market need for TheBestDay solution. In March 2013 The Best Day closed a $1 million investment round to fund the launch of the social scheduling platform.
Bridget Loudon, Founder of Expert 360

Together with colleague Emily Yu, Bridget developed an online platform that gives professionals access to what they really want – high quality talent, flexibility in how they engage them, and at a price that delivers good value.
